Carrier solvent; wetting agent; humectant; anticaking agent; antioxidant; texture improver; surfactant; stabilizer; thickener; dough conditioner; emulsifier; flavoring agent; excipient; processing aid. GB2760~96 is listed as food processing aids. Mainly used as solvent for various spices, pigments, preservatives, and extraction solvent for vanilla beans, roasted coffee grains, natural spices, etc. Moisturizing and softening agent for candies, bread, packaged meats, cheese, etc. It can also be used as an anti-mold additive for noodles and stuffing cores. Adding 0.006% to soy milk can keep the flavor unchanged when heated, making white and shiny packaged tofu, and the volume will expand when fried.
